WARNING: Please be aware of fraudulent companies!

As has unfortunately been observed for other conferences, third-party scammers (such as Global Travel Team, Global Travel Experts, Converia Travel, or Travel Housing Team) seem to be active in connection with SE2026. We have been informed of individual cases in which fraudulent third parties have contacted participants directly via email. These messages falsely claim to manage hotel reservations and request payments under this pretext.

Please be careful when registering for SE2026 or booking accommodation in Bern. The conference organisers have no affiliation with these third parties, have no influence over such scam attempts, and do not assume any liability for them.
